What's in the cup
The cart runs two slush bowls at once, so guests get a real choice instead of one flavor all afternoon. Cherry and blue raspberry are the classic pair: one red, one blue, and the line will argue about which is better. Lemonade-style, watermelon, grape and other fruity flavors can be swapped in; tell us your favorites when you request a quote and we'll confirm what's available for your date.
Can't decide? Half-and-half cups are the most popular order at almost every event. Our attendant layers the two colors so the cup looks like a little sunset, and it tastes like one too. Every flavor is a frozen, fruit-flavored drink with no alcohol, ever, so it works for a kindergarten field day just as well as a grown-up summer party.
- Two flavors running side by side
- Half-and-half swirl cups on request
- Served in cups with straws and spoons
- Always non-alcoholic
What comes with the slush cart
You're booking a served treat, not a machine. From $400 for 50 guests, the slush cart includes our attendant pouring for two hours of serving, the cart itself, the slush mix, cups, straws and napkins, plus setup before guests arrive and cleanup after. Travel within our New York and New Jersey service area is included, and your written quote spells everything out.
Expecting a bigger crowd? Each additional guest is $5, and an extra hour of serving is $150. There's no event minimum, so a small backyard party gets the same full service as a school-wide celebration.
Keeping a long line moving
Slush is one of the fastest treats we serve, which is why it's a favorite for big school crowds. Because the bowls are already frozen and spinning when guests walk up, pouring a cup typically takes just a few seconds. Most party-sized groups are comfortably served over a two-hour window, and for very large field days we can talk about a second cart or a longer serving time.
For grade-by-grade schedules, tell us roughly when each class will come through. Our attendant keeps both bowls topped up between waves so the cart is ready when the next group arrives.
Space, power and setup for a slush cart
The cart is compact. Plan on a flat spot about the size of a parking space's front half, with a little room behind the cart for our attendant. Shade helps on a hot day, and a tent or covered area is smart if rain is in the forecast.
Slush machines usually plug into a standard outlet within reach of the cart, and some setups prefer an outlet that isn't shared with other heavy equipment. We'll confirm power for your exact location when we finalize your quote. We arrive ahead of serving time so the bowls have time to freeze down before the first guest walks up.
Best events for slush cart catering in NJ & NY
Field days are where this cart shines. Schools and PTAs book it for field days, fun fairs and end-of-year parties; see our school field day options for how it fits into a full day. It's just as good at backyard birthday parties, summer block parties and company picnics, where a cold cup is the first thing guests look for after an hour in the sun.
Pair it with something warm or crunchy
Slush and fries is a combination people don't expect and then can't stop ordering: our fry bar station adds something salty and hot next to the cold cart. For a sweeter spread, add the cotton candy cart. Planning a big event? The Big One pack bundles Live Oven Pizza, the fry bar, soft serve and the slush cart in one booking. Browse every option on our carts page.
